OUR FATHER'S KINGDOM MINISTRIES INTERNATIONAL

From what started as a weekly Bible Study in 1997 in Kingston, Jamaica had slowly escalated to the development of a church, Our Father’s Kingdom Ministries International otherwise known as OFK, was founded on May 1st, 2011. Ordained as Pastors under the covering of Bishop Clayton Harris, Firm Foundation Ministries International, Pastor Tyrone and Debbie Thompson seek to fulfill the call of God as they humbly submit to His voice. OFK was initiated at the Courtyard Marriot Hotel banquet hall with a small congregation and the continuation of weekly Bible studies. On August 7th of that same year OFK started operating Sunday services at the Weston 8 Cinema and still conducting weekly Bible studies from Pastor Tyrone and Debbie’s home.

The birthing of Our Father’s Kingdom Ministries stems out of a vision given to Pastor Tyrone Thompson taken from Ezekiel 34. This passage articulates the responsibility of the shepherd to place the welfare of the sheep above his own. Pastors Tyrone and Debbie Thompson have defined the vision as a desire to see the life of people transformed for the glory of God, to build strong families and empower the youth for greatness. They give pre-eminence to the Holy Spirit as the One who guides us in our God ordained destinies and enables us to live victoriously and faithfully unto the Lord. Their mission states based on Ezekiel 34:16, “to share the Gospel, win the lost, strengthen the weak, bring back the strays and heal the sick.” The evidence of this mission is reflected in the growth of testimonies that gradually increases as they fulfill to the Lord’s command.

The great commission is a priority for OFKMI in baptizing, to disciple and teaching for the expansion of the Kingdom of God. OFKMI founded upon the assembling of ministries including:

Through worship that eases the burdened heart and ushers the presence of God in preparation for His Word, the experience at Our Father's Kingdom is one that is unforgettable. The welcoming hospitality displayed by the OFKMI family ignites a spirit of fellowship with those in attendance of each service. Moreover, OFKMI places a strong emphasis is on community just as the disciples did in Acts 2:42, “they devoted themselves to the apostles teaching and to the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer…and the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved.”
